Goodluck Jonathan



Goodluck Jonathan is the 14th Head of State and current President of Nigeria. Jonathan is a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP). 

President Goodluck Jonathan was born on 20th November, 1957 in Ogbia, Nigeria. He holds a BSc degree in Zoology in which he attained second class honours. He holds an MSc degree in Hydrobiology and Fisheries biology, and a PhD degree in Zoology from the University of Port Harcourt. He worked as an education inspector, Lecturer, and environmental-protection officer. He entered politics in 1998. He was sworn in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 6th May 2010 following the death of his predecessor President Umaru Yar'Adua on 5th May 2010.

Paul Kagame









Paul Kagame is the sixth and current president of Rwanda. President Kagame took office on 24th March 2000 when his predecessor Pasteur Bizimungu resigned.

President Paul Kagame was born on 23rd October, 1957 south of Rwanda from a Tutsi family. He is the last born in the family of six children.

President Paul Kagame got married to Jeannette Nyiramongi on 10th June, 1989 and the couple have 4 children, three sons and one daughter; Ivan Cyomoro Kagame, Ange Kagame, Ian Kagame and Brian Kagame.

Paul Biya



Rais Paul Biya

President Paul Biya is a president of Cameroon since 6 November 1982. He was born on 13 February 1933 in the village of Mvomeka'a in the South Region of Cameroon. He studied at Lycee Louis Legrand, Sorbonne and Sciences Po Paris, where he graduated in 1961 with a diploma in International Relations.

He married Jeanne - Irene Biya who did not have any children though she adopted Frank Biya who was born from a relationship of Paul Biya with another woman. Jeanne - Irene Biya died on 29 July 1992 and Paul Biya married Chantal Vigouroux on 23 April 1994, and the couple has two children, Anastasia Brenda Biya and Paul Junior Biya.

Robert Mugabe








Robert Gabriel Mugabe  is the president of Zimbabwe. He was born on 21 February 1924 near the Kutama Jesuit Mission in the Zvimba District Northwest of Salisbury in Southern Rhodesia to a Malawian father Gabriel atibili and a Shona mother, Bona. He was the third of six children. He had two older brothers, Michael and Raphael, and a younger brother Donato. Both his older brothers died when he was young, leaving Robert Mugabe and his younger brother Donato who died in 2007 and two younger sisters, Sabina Mugabe who died in 2010 and Bridgette Mugabe the only surviving sibling of president Mugabe. His father, a carpenter, abandoned the Mugabe family in 1934 after Michael died, in search of work in Bulawayo. 

President Robert Mugabe studied at Marist Brothers and Jesuit schools, and Kutama College, headed by an Irish Priest, Father Jerome O'Hea, who took him under his wing. He qualified as a teacher, but left to study at Fort Hare in South Africa graduated in 1951. He then studied at Salisbury in (1953), Gwelo (1954) and Tanzania (1955 - 1957). Originally graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Fort Hare in 1951. Mugabe subsequently earned six further degrees through distance learning including a Bachelor of Administration and Bachelor of Education from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Science. Bachelors of Laws, Master of Laws, and Master of Science, all from the University of London External Programme.

After graduating Mugabe lectured at Chalimbana Teacher Training College in Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) from 1955 - 1958, thereafter he taught at Apowa secondary school in Takoradi, Ghana after completing his local certification at Achimota school (1958 - 1960), where he met Sally Hayfron, whom he married in April 1961. Sally Hayfron died in 1992 from a chronic kidney ailment. Their only son, Michael Nhamodzenyika Mugabe, born 27 September 1963, died on 26 December 1966 from cerebral malaria in Ghana where Sally was working while Mugabe was in prison.

On 17 August 1996, Mugabe married his former secretary, Grace Mafuru, 41 years his junior.  President Mugabe and his wife Grace have 3 children, one girl and two boys. Bona Mugabe, Robert Peter Mugabe Jr., and Chatunga Bellarmine Mugabe. Mugabe has also a stepson with Grace Mugabe, Russell Goreraza.
